Water for life foundation is a local run NGO which focuses on the provision of clean water for both domestic and commercial purposes by drilling boreholes and setting up irrigation systems for mainly the less privileged members of our society

Our Experience

The Foundation has remained engaged in the education sector since its formation. The Foundation has established a number of income-generating projects in both primary and secondary schools around the country For the sustainability of its projects in schools; The Foundation always uses the strategies such as true community participation, public-private partnerships, and the formation and strengthening/capacity building of PECs & SMCs.

The Foundation is engaged in promoting gender equality and addressing women
empowerment issues since its inception in the year 2017. The Foundation’s first-ever project focused on the issues of the provision Of Clean Water for women empowerment projects.

Over the past period of rich experience working on women’s issues; the Foundation has well increased its conceptual understanding and knowledge of the issues of marginalized women and the women are vulnerable to a lack of enough empowerment programs.

During its work on gender issues; the Foundation explored and worked with a number of critical stakeholders who could be of great support as for as addressing the issues of gender and women empowerment – particularly VAW is concerned. For example, the Foundation closely worked with School Teachers and Media Representatives to increase awareness and
sensitize the local communities and administration to address gender issues. Working with police officers was another successful approach the Foundation successfully tested.

The  Foundation actively responds to natural disasters and emergencies such as floods and earthquakes etc. The Foundation has been responding to emergencies since the year 2017. During its engagement in various disaster response interventions; The  Foundation has been well-skilled in designing and implementing relief and early recovery interventions.

Building the capacity of partners and different stakeholders is the cross-cutting theme for all WFLF core programs. The Foundation has been involved in capacity-building activities since the year 2017.

The Foundation has conducted a large number of training workshops for police officers, media representatives, school teachers local NGOs and CBOs, school management committees, community groups, government officers, and project teams of various projects. Over the past period; the Foundation has greatly developed its capacity to design and conduct different nature training and capacity-building events for different groups/stakeholders.

The Foundation now designs and conducts training that caters to the capacity-building needs of its different partners and clients.
